I was thinking the other day of all the things we've shared together. There are so many.

Do you remember that night we went to the park late at night so I could swing? And we ended up hiding in the bathrooms because we scared ourselves so badly? And we just laid in the grass for a while and watched the stars?

Do you remember when we went to the creek for the first time? When I threw my shoe into the water and had to chase it downstream? And we laid in the back of your truck until it was dark? That night was the night you told me about yourself, and I was never afraid. See, you couldn't even frighten me away from you.

Do you remember all the times we went to the hot springs? And how we wanted to find our own hot springs in some secluded place just for somewhere quiet we could go? I still go up to the springs sometimes to think of you; sometimes when I feel alone. And do you remember the last time we went there? Do you remember what we did?

Do you remember when we went over a mountain pass just because you felt like driving? Do you remember that same day when we went up to the pass and it was really cold; so cold it snowed? We watched the first snow of the season there together.

Do you remember the first time you called me on the telephone? You asked if I would go with you to a movie. We saw three movies here together. Do you remember the time we went out of town? And we saw a movie there? On the way back we were holding hands and didn't even realize it.

Do you remember when you gave me your ring? You're right, I wanted something like that very much. I still have it, only I have to keep it in a box to help me to forget about all this.

Do remember the times I went to your house? The second one especially. Isn't it strange how both times I was there, no one else was?

Do you remember when we went up to the mine? It seemed like the birds and squirrels were watching over us, or maybe they were just spying.

Do you remember the drives in the rain? Me sitting at your work all the time, just to watch you? Falling asleep over the phone? Talking on ICQ? Parking your truck and just sitting somewhere, anywhere, as long as I was with you?

Do you remember all this? The things we've done? Do you remember me?

I know that I will never forget, I can not.

Love Always,

Shannon
